Location: Manchester Salary: £45K - £50K + Car Allowance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Small Works Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical small works projects across a range of client sites. The role will involve managing the day-to-day operation of the small works function, coordinating engineers, managing workloads and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service and resolving any issues that arise. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate electrical small works projects from start to completion. * Coordinate field engineers, scheduling, workloads and resource allocation. * Monitor job progress and ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard. * Liaise with clients, providing updates and resolving any issues. * Monitor budgets, performance and KPIs to ensure commercial targets are met. * Review engineers' reports and identify/pricing remedial works. * Monitor client portals and ensure all job and compliance information is kept up to date. * Prepare reports and documentation relating to completed works. * Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements and industry standards. * Support and develop engineers to maintain safe and productive working practices. Requirements * Previous experience managing electrical small works or similar service-based projects. * Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building services. * Experience coordinating engineers and managing multiple jobs simultaneously. * Strong commercial and organisational skills. * Confident dealing directly with clients and managing relationships. * Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines. * Full UK driving licence
