Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a role that offers plenty of variety, regular customer interaction, and the chance to be home every evening? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join an established and expanding engineering business. You will be responsible for supporting customers across the Northwest, carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, installations, and commissioning on a range of industrial equipment and systems. The role would be well suited to an electrically biased engineer with a background in industrial maintenance, field service, or electrical engineering. You will need to be confident diagnosing faults, working independently on customer sites, and getting to the root cause of electrical and control system issues. Experience working with pumps, treatment equipment, instrumentation and PLC-controlled systems would be highly beneficial. A full UK driving licence is essential, with 2391 or an equivalent qualification desirable. Key Responsibilities Undertake servicing, maintenance, repairs, installations and commissioning of electrical and control equipment. Investigate electrical and control system faults, identifying the cause and carrying out the necessary remedial work. Travel to customer locations throughout the Northwest to respond to breakdowns and complete scheduled engineering work. Produce clear service reports and ensure all maintenance and technical records are kept up to date. Work closely with customers and internal teams, providing practical technical advice and ensuring all activities are completed in line with company and H&S requirements.Salary - £40,000 per annum - £48-55k OTE The company also offer an excellent benefits package, including a company vehicle, company laptop, 24 days annual leave, company pension, and Life Assurance.
