Living Well Assistant - The Role: As a Living Well Assistant, you will support people to live independently, confidently and well in their own homes. Working closely with individuals, families and local communities, you will provide personalised support focused on strengths, choice and wellbeing. Your work will be varied, helping people achieve their goals, maintain independence, build connections and access opportunities that matter to them. Living Well Assistant - Key Responsibilities: - Provide person-centred support with housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, laundry, ironing, cleaning and maintaining home environments - Support individuals with everyday matters such as reading correspondence, paying bills, collecting prescriptions and developing digital skills - Assist individuals to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities, and provide companionship to prevent isolation - Monitor wellbeing, complete falls prevention checks, provide welfare checks and report concerns in line with organisational procedures - Support individuals to prepare nutritious meals, shop for ingredients and maintain healthy eating habits - Maintain accurate records using CallRound app and follow all organisational policies and safeguarding procedures Living Well Assistant - You: - Have experience supporting older, vulnerable or disadvantaged people in a paid, voluntary or personal capacity, ideally in domiciliary care, home support, social care or community services - Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships - Are fit and able to carry out practical tasks, with excellent organisational and time management skills - Have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes - Are compassionate, caring, reliable, patient and empathetic with a flexible approach to working hours Benefits: - An additional enhancement for accrued annual leave paid concurrently at a rate of 14.04%. - 4% employer contribution pension in line with auto-enrolment rules - Flexible working arrangements - Paid travel time between visits and travel expenses at 50p per mile - Mobile telephone and support provided for remote working - Enhanced DBS check costs met by the employer Closing Date: 5pm Friday 23rd October To submit your CV for this exciting Living Well Assistant opportunity, click Apply today
