Project Surveyor Ilford Up to £75,000 + Package | Large Residential & Commercial Projects | Projects up to £30m An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Surveyor to join their commercial team, working on a range of large-scale residential and commercial developments. With projects ranging in value up to £30 million, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Surveyor looking to take ownership of significant projects and develop their career within a respected contractor. The Role As Project Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion, working closely with the project management and site teams to deliver successful outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account Procurement and management of subcontract packages Preparing valuations, payment applications and forecasts Managing variations, compensation events and commercial changes Preparing and maintaining accurate cost reports Managing subcontractor accounts and payments Identifying commercial risks and opportunities Working closely with the project team to maximise project performance Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors Negotiating and agreeing final accounts About You The successful candidate will have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Project Surveyor within a main contracting environment, ideally with experience across large residential, commercial or mixed-use developments. You will be commercially astute, well organised and confident managing your own packages and projects. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with the wider project team.
