Experienced Year 1 Teacher - Wirral Start Date: Monday 2nd November Contract: Long-term - until July 2027 Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced primary teacher to join a welcoming school on the Wirral, teaching a Year 1 class on a long-term basis. This role would suit a confident and experienced teacher who has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and is able to hit the ground running. You will take full responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive classroom environment where children feel supported and motivated to learn. The school is looking for a teacher who: Has solid experience teaching in a primary school Has previous Year 1 or KS1 experience Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum Is confident with planning, assessment and classroom management Can build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues Is organised, reliable and able to work independently Has high expectations for behaviour and learningThis is a long-term opportunity through to July 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right teacher.
