Depot Engineer

Salary: 33k - 37k basic

Monday–Friday 40 hours basic| No Weekends

CRS are currently assisting our client, a leading plant and equipment business, in sourcing experienced Depot Engineers to join a busy workshop team at the local depot in West Bromwich .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working on telehandlers or other heavy plant machinery.

Depot Engineer role:

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of telehandlers and heavy plant equipment.
• Carry out inspections, fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.
• Complete PDI checks and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure equipment is kept safe, reliable and ready for hire.

Depot Engineer

requirements

• Experience servicing and repairing telehandlers, construction plant or heavy equipment is highly desired to be considered.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant, HGV, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A team player with a proactive approach.
