Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £46,300 per annum

Shift Pattern: Panama Shifts – Days & Nights

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, leading manufacturing business in Doncaster

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs across production machinery.

Fault find and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, including servo and proportional controls.

Diagnose and resolve machinery faults quickly to minimise production downtime.

Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Work closely with production teams, engineering supervisors and external contractors.

Assist with machinery installations, modifications and improvements.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete effective shift handovers.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Experience working with hydraulic systems, motors, drives and industrial machinery.

Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment and fault diagnosis.

Engineering qualification, ideally NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent experience
